how can I fix corrupt word document

I have a word document with alot of images that I need. And I don't know what I did...must of done something...maybe one of the images is corrupt but now the file won't even OPEN! It does the same thing on any computer:'

1. microsoft office opens
2. tries to load the file
3. takes FOREVER
4. Freezes
5. Microsoft word crashes.


what should I do???

is there any software?

I need someones help! I NEED that file!!! (it's a big file ): )
