usb foot controller for guitars?

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any usb foot controllers available for my guitar. Something that will allow me to control the wah, volume or any othet effects in Mainstage, or even other software plugins like Amplitube. I am really wanting to control that wah.

I use the FBV Shortboard to control my POD XT

Once I get LP8, I hope to ditch the POD & use MainStage instead to control AmpliTube (which sounds so much better than POD IMO)

FBV controls nothing in LP7 but I'm hoping it will control MainStage

As I said, I don't have LP8 yet

I checked out the Line 6 web site and it doesn't look like any of their controllers use a USB connector.I'm guessing somebody will see an oportunity here......it sure would make things easy for MainStage.I'm thinking of using it for a gig this week but without a foot control it might be a pain.

Sorry to mislead you. Digitalsweater is correct. I checked my FBV and it has CAT-5 Ethernet NOT USB

I got confused because PODs also have USB

All we need is some kind of Ethernet to USB adaptor!

Your going to have to use a midi floor board. Behringer makes a really popular unit called the FCB-1010. Yamaha also makes one they are about 200-300 bucks. If you goto the ableton website here

he uses a midi floorboard. The pod will not be able to be used becuz Mainstage doesnt send midi it only recvs it. I am sure apple will change this when they realize it. Or its going to be a chargeable upgrade and they did know what they were doing : )

In no time someone will be making a USB foot controller for Mainstage that also has the instrument input for your guitar, and a mic input for a vocal. A foot controller plus 2/2 IO made for Mainstage. That'd be sweet.

I also have amplitube 2 and would love to control it as well as mainstage. The new Stomp IO, seems like it would be nice...but there is now expression pedal! It looks like you will be able to add on expression pedals, but I want one unit like the FCB1010. This seems like it might work, but from what I have read, it seems like a real pain in the neck to program. I would really like something with the "learn" function. I have an M-Audio Oxugen 61, which is so simple to use with IK Sampletank and Sonicsynth, this is what I want in a foot controller, maybe I will just have to wait.

Also, the color scheme for the Stomp IO is hideous...maybe they should hire some apple designers.
