Wanting to buy an iSight. . .I think

Love the iSight but not thrilled about buying it used on eBay.

Is there another similar kind of camera that works well? Any resources much appreciated.

Otherwise, any suggestions on what should I pay and/or avoid or consider when buying one used?

thanks

If you have a Mac compatible Firewire camcorder, you can also use that as your video source for iChat AV (or other video chat app), at least until you find the dedicated webcam you want.

Any camera you use will be operated by applications software and your OS. Regardless of which camera you consider, you will need to be mindful of the application software's camera compatibility and System Requirements.

We will be happy to try to respond to any specific questions you may have after looking though the linked info.
