Do I need Wifi connected to go on YouTube? Or can I go on it while unconnected?

WiFi is the only way you can use YouTube.

That's dumb...I'm buying a Classic anyways...
You need to be present in a wifi hotspot to access youtube, safari, and the wifi ITMS. Without a wifi access point you cannot use these features on the ipod touch.

THat answer is so obvious. If your not happy that you need to be near a wifi hotspot then you can buy a iphone and access the internet and youtube wherever you are! 😀
