GeForce 8600M GT Driver??

GeForce 8600M GT Driver??

I'm using Adobe After Effects, I just download the latest software update and ever since I have been getting an error message that reads "After Effects error: AE_OpenGL: Failed display color channel 5065 :: 0". I looked up the error code on the Adobe site and it says that I should make sure my graphics card (GeForce 8600M GT w/ 256mb) is up to date.

But when I go on the Nvidia site I cannot locate a the drivers. They only have options for Windows, Linux, Solaris, and FreeBSD (have no idea what those last two are). There are no Mac or OS X options. I'm perplexed. Any help would be GREATLY appreaciated seeing that I have a deadline this week. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I dont know if it makes a difference but I'm using Affter Effects CS3.

NVidia drivers are built in to OS X and not available for download.

So what you are saying is that my OpenGL problem is not related to my graphics card drivers. Does anyone know what it could possibly be?

I don't see anywhere in my post where I said or implied that. You were saying you were looking to download drivers and I was simply telling you that they are not available for download....nothing more.

Ok I understand. Do you know anything about openGL rendering and it's problems? Or know where I should post my problems relating to After Effects? I tried the Adobe Site and went through their troubleshooting stuff, but it didn't help. Any other forums?

The only other place I would recommend is Adobe's forums. Since the graphics card doesn't seem to be giving you issues with any other application, then the AE forum would be the way to go.

Thanks alot. I find this ironic, Adobe says that their forums are down for maintnence. Just my luck....
