Can not connect to istore

I just downloaded the new version of Itunes to accomodate an Ipod Classic. Now I keep getting a message that says an unknown error has occurred and it gives me this number: 11333. I followed the trouble shooting tips listed on the website and nothing is helping. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the exact same problem. Have tried everything in this message and on the support site to no avail. Here are the results of diagnostics. Everything checks out green except connection to Applie iTunes store.

I got the same error with what sounds like the same scenario. I was prompted to upgrade to iTunes 7.4.3. I performed the upgrade, then I can no longer connect to the iTunes store or download podcasts. My internet connection is otherwise fine and nothing else has changed on my pc. Ran the diagnostic and got...

Windows Firewall is on.
iTunes is enabled in Windows Firewall.

Connection attempt to Apple web site was unsuccessful.
The network connection was refused.
Connection attempt to iTunes Store was unsuccessful.
The network connection was refused.
Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was unsuccessful.

green lights for the first 2 sections, yellow for the iTunes portion. Any ideas?

I'm new to iTunes...and my computer won't connect at all. I went through all the troubleshooting and can't find anything that would work. I did as you all did and ran a diagnostics check and all appears to work fine:

Network Connection Information

Active Connection: LAN Connection
Connected: Yes
Online: Yes
Using Modem: No
Using LAN: Yes
Using Proxy: No

Firewall Information

Windows Firewall is on.
iTunes is enabled in Windows Firewall.

Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
Connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.
Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.

But for some stupid reason, it still won't connect.

Anybody computer saavy enough to help?

Thanks much!

I'm having the exact same problems: downloaded newest version of iTunes and now can only get on the store sporadically and am completely unable to buy anything there. My diagnostics say what everyone else's says.

For as many threads as there are on this topic, you'd think someone from Apple would notice nobody is buying any songs!

A little help would be much appreciated.

Ooooooh, ProSniper, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU!!! I have had this expensive piece of Apple hardware since Christmas last year and have NEVER been able to get in to iTunes. NEVER! My experience with this has certainly not endeared MACintosh to me. Your change to the connections "LAN-settings" got me in. Oooooo, podcasts here I come. Here's hoping I can download.
