Transition Between Video Tracks

Each track can have an associated transition. Select the track to get its properties into the Inspector window. Select the transition tab and select your transition. You can do this for each track in your project. If you have one track set to end-jump to another track, it will do so using the transition set in the inspector.

The problem is that a track transition only appears to work when moving to a menu, or vice-versa.

The workaround is to take the last image in the track and make it a still (using photoshop or whatever) and add that still to the very end of the track. You should then be able to attach the transition as it links to the still and not the video.

Using DVDSP transition from track to track won't work the way you want or think it will. Thats not what transition in DVD were designed for. There is no solution. DVD is a linear technology and placing transitions between tracks means the laser of a player must refocus to a different part of the disc as to comes from 1 track to a transition to the second track.

Why not just make 1 track. If thats not an option then you need to re-think the title.
