FREE WiFi Locations

I keep seeing posts of people complaining about pay WiFi locations - the usual list of suspects always gets listed - Starbucks, McDonald's, Borders Bookstores (the last two being the most infuriating since their WiFi is run by AT&T). How about a list of FREE WiFi locations that we can keep growing, so we as iPhone WiFi users can quickly find locations to get FREE WiFi. I know from my experience with my iPhone the following have FREE OPEN WiFi Networks -

*Beaner's Coffee*
*Mongolian BBQ*
*Burger King*

Panera - need to open a splash page and agree to terms and conditions, but this page works on iPhone

*Caribou Coffee* - They have a splash page that will not display on the iPhone. If you call their WiFi Support Line they can log your iPhone in at the location you're using. They need your WiFi Address (SETTINGS>GENERAL>ABOUT). Once they log you in at that location, your iPhone will find that location and automatically log in at subsequent visits. You do have to call at each location you visit, and can only be manually logged in to one location per day. Once you're logged into multiple locations, you can hit as many of them as you want everyday.

Do you know of any other FREE OPEN WiFi locations we can all frequent?

Why is it infuriating that McDonalds and Borders aren't free? This is a totally separate service from what you are paying for cell phone, texting and EDGE. Is it infuriating that they don't give you a DSL line and wireless in your house for free?

Be aware that the Panera wireless is heavily filtered.

If you use Google there are much better sites (in addition to the widget posted here) that provide you with lists of WiFi hotspots, paid and free. I don't think this forum is a good place to build such a list.
