Will MacBook work with 220v

I am going to be traveling to Vietnam with my MacBook. Voltage there is 220v instead of the 110v in the US. My MacBook charger notes that input is 100-240v. I just wanted some confirmation that this really means it is safe to use as is?

I concur with the previous poster, it works just fine on 220v as long as you have a converter plug for the electric outlet. I live in France and bought a MBP in the US and operated it with no problem (France runs on 220v).

Yes all you need is a plug adapter to convert to the correct plug style. You can either use the world travel set from Apple or by just a plug adapter that the MagSafe will plug into.
