kernel panic waking from sleep

am getting kernel panics with a 4 month old MacBook … always when waking from sleep … have tried the trouble shooting suggested on the X Lab site but they are still happening … can't seem to connect the panic to any specific action other than waking from sleep … happen maybe 1 in 10 wake ups ……… can anyone read anything from this recent log:

panic(cpu 1 caller 0x001A4A55): Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 1, Type 14=page fault), registers:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are pretty much screwed over. I had the Kernel Panic happening to my MacBook after buying it brand new and that happening after only ONE month. There is a fix out there for it that you download. However, with my MacBook, that cause various other problems such as : applications FREEZING, applications closing unexpectedly, lower battery life, a darker screen when unplugged, and a loud whirring sound occasionally. I wish you luck and hope that you have purchased the Apple Protection Plan, in which case, if the 'fix' does not help you, they should replace the computer, IF you can get ahold of someone who knows what they are talking about. If that happens to you, I know the number of someone who is intelligent but rarely answers the phone or calls back.

Good Luck.

I had alot of waking up from sleep trouble with my mac i'd had for a week. I took it to the mac store to be looked at, and when it was in the store it worked fine. The only thing different from the mac store and my home was that I did not have a wireless internet connection. I turned off the airport and the bluetooth and it now works fine. this may work for you, it may not, but it is a very easy thing to try.

Thanks to the Genius Bar @ the Danbury CT Apple Store … finally found an open appointment at a time possible to make the 40 mile trek … from the panic log the Genius inferred that it with the RAM … pulling out the RAM showed that there was a coating (thermal grease?) on the contacts … popped them back after a quick cleaning all seemed well … couldn't stress the MacBook into a panic … that took all of twenty minutes (& we had a good talk) … that was two weeks ago today & the MacBook hasn't had a panic attack since …
