The video clips I embedded into KN '08 have occasional "blips" during presentations. Audio doesn't seem affected. A friend of mine is also experiencing similar issue. Anyone else have this issue or a suggested solution?
Interesting! I was having the same problem and I thought it was my display that was "dying".
I've noticed it happens less frequently if I run the whole presentation first before I present it.
Hi all
I am having the same problem.
Movies play fine in Quicktime and Front Row but when I drop them in a Keynote slide there is the occasional frame jump in video .
I am trying different movie formats.
After trying every video format, and every tweak I could imagine I finally found a 100% fix. I switched back to Keynote 06 which runs video perfectly...
Unfortunately, I saved my presentations in the new Keynote format and can't go back to '06. These video blips are really distracting during my presentation.
I experienced similar glitches in Keynote 4.0.1/4.0.2 on a new MacBook Pro with the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT.
Try making your presentation and Quicktime movie the same size.
It seems the Nvidia card does not like the Quicktime to be scaled in Keynote.
This solved it for me.
