Missing DVD Player software from OS 10.3.9 in G4 Digital Mac

I recently bought a used 733MHz G4 Digital Audio Mac. I installed 10.3.9 onto it directly from the retail discs I had. However, I am unable to play DVD movies on it.

Could someone please tell me where to acquire the missing DVD Player software which exists in my Intel Mac and in my G4 PB Titanium? Alternatively, have I omitted to do something in the OS installation?
