Page Snapback

I'm running Safari 2.0.4. I seem to have lost the page Snapback icon from the address bar. How do i get it back? I've tried marking page for snapback but this doesn't work.

Hi widge:

That link was very creative - thanks for clarifying the issue! I misunderstood your issue.

As I understand it, the "snapback" icon does not appear at all. Try this:

Trash the preference file (com.apple.safari.plist).
Delete the address portion from your search bar. Drag the address portion from the Safari>view>customize address bar>to the address bar.
Restart.

What that should do is delete Safari preferences and then - hopefully - get you to where you wish to go. I have never tried this myself, however. If this does not work, there are other steps (reload Safari) that may be taken, but they are more time consuming.

P.S. Ignore the first E-mail. I was still in the misundertanding mode.
