1.1.1 update new issue with SMS

The phone with the new 1.1.1 update created a new issue with SMS. Create a new Text message type the message and before you send it hit the home button then go back in SMS and the message that you typed is gone. Before this version the phone was fine the message would still be there. Nice going apple fix somehting break something else.

S7umpy, you have to continue the conversation in the already EXISTED DIALOG. This is where you can type anything in tentatively before sending and exit, you won't loose anything and you can continue typing away.

And if you create a new message from scratch and exit, it thinks that your newly created message is not important. Thus, it erases the message. (THIS IS PURELY MY GUESS.)

Interesting enough this was not happening before in the version 1.0.2 and that’s why you have the Cancel button. If I create a new message and get a phone call or I want to go to a different application like check on something on my emails or change a song I don't want the message to be erased because I haven't finished, this was not the case in the previous version.

The new sms window is still up with the phone number that I addressed the text to but the conversation is gone. Really how much do you think you would save on memory no much less then 248bytes. The SMS application is still active otherwise you would not receive any text messages and all the messages are saved on the 4 or 8 GB or whater you have left.
