"Play Count"/"Skip Count" Ratio?

I've been wishing I could create a smart playlist that requires a minimum ratio of "play counts" to "skips counts." The advantage for me would be that this calculation would allow into the list both new music and old favorites that I liked regardless of how many times I listened to them. I'm on a PC and haven't figured out how to do any scripting yet. I read a recent post on building smartplaylists off other smartplaylists, but still don't see how that could make my list focus on ratios as opposed to absolute play counts and skip counts.
Thanks!!

Why not simply make a smart playlist with My Rating is 5 stars or my rating is greater than 3 stars?

Not sure how playcounts vs. skip counts would work. I sometimes skip good songs because I want something else.

Thanks for trying. To answer your question, I already have used--and continue to use--star ratings extensively. The "problem" is that I have around 2,000 favorite tunes and 3,000 other tunes I like pretty well. I'm more interested in having these 2,000 favorites flow onto (and off of) my iPod as intelligently as possible. I've been able to do a lot, but, as mentioned before, am tired of trying to pick absolute skip and play count values because new tunes I want in the playlist will have lower numbers and old tunes I want will have higher numbers. Hence, I believe it's the ratio I really care about but can't currently program in.
Thanks,
Garth
