Can't open photos - needs MIME plug-in?

I'm using Safari 2.0.4 and am trying to view photos on a website, but have encountered this error message:

+The page “Browser Express” has content of MIME type “application/x-oleobject”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.+

Can this be solved in Safari, or do I need to download an entirely new web browser to do this? If so, what choices do I have?

Thanks.

Macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Can you provide a link to the web site?

There are some web sites whose coding only works in Windows. Those are relatively rare. And there are times when a problem like this is due to a configuration problem on ones Mac that can be fixed. More information about the web site that is causing you problems will help determine what the situation is.

You can try out this link - I'm trying to click into one of the thumbnails. Thanks.

It's not working for me either, in the Safari 3 beta. That is, I can view the thumbnails but not the larger pictures.

For what it's worth, my impression is that the coding behind this site is very outdated. I visited the AeroDrive site that writes the programming behind that site, and as an example, in their "Windows configuration" PDF file provided as support to their customers, they tell you how to configure IE 5.5. That makes me wonder how long it has been since they've updated the software that drives the site you're trying to view.

I'm sorry that's not much help. I think you have indeed found one of those web sites that doesn't work well or at all in Mac OS X.
