Can't open .htm file without changing to .swf - Suggestions?

My Mom sent me this website embedded in an e-mail:

http://www.oldjoeblack.0nyx.com/thinktst.htm

It is a neat little "test"; the page will open and a blank screen appears, with music only - Safari and Firefox.

I change to .swf and the page loads perfectly.

Had to stumble on the .swf work around. Took a while with Google.

Anyway with Flip 4Mac or something other native can websites like this be automatically defaulted into something my Mac recognizes and then open automatically?

If so, how? Simple instructions appreciated!

Cheers and Thanks!
