MBP Freezes when downloading from AOL

Are these attachments in Emails?
If so, are you using the AOL mail program, Apple Mail, or accessing your AOL mail on the Internet?

Did you download the All-In-One Software AOL® for Mac OS X, from the AOL Macintosh Downloads Page?

Hi Again yojimbo1!

Rather than attempting to pinpoint, what exactly is causing the problem, it may be easiest to uninstall AOL, and then reinstall it.

Follow my instructions, in this document How To Manually Uninstall/Reinstall AOL..

But download and use, a fresh copy of the software, as maybe your original is corrupt.

Your Network settings, in System Preferences, will need to be adjusted, according to your connection method.

The procedure is really not as daunting as it appears!
