I'll appreciate any help,

Thanks

I've sent a copy of the replacement conduit to to.

Because you chose to archive and install, however, you may face additional issues. If you see an error indicating that the HotSync Manager is not installed or has never been launched when you try to synchronize using iSync, post back again and I will describe how to deal with that unrelated issue.

Thanks, Michael.

Your file solved one problem and now I have another, so still not synced.

I replaced the old file with the new one, but now can't get the device to sync at all.

So I removed Palm from applications and library and reinstalled and replaced the hotsycnc conduit file in the new insall.

Restarted.

Opened up Palm and hotsync to make sure that all was enabled, etc.

But when I try to hotsync, the palm responds but not the Mac. Any ideas?

Ellen

In order to help Apple software engineers isolate and identify this issue, can you please provide the precise build number for the operating system on the machine that exhibit this problem?

To do so, select About This Mac from the Apple menu, and—beneath the Mac OS X label—press the Version 10.4.9 or Version 10.4.10 label. That value will change to something like 8P1xxx. Please respond to this message with that build number, the version of Mac OS X 10.4.x you have installed, and the last three digits of your machine serial number.

Apple continues to investigate this issue, and needs this information to isolate and identify the problem. Thank you in advance for providing it.

Welcome to Apple Discussions.

I would be happy to send you a compressed copy of a working conduit. Please do this: send a message to the electronic mail address in my Public Profile, and include this information:

• the version of Mac OS X you are using
• the build number* and
• the last three characters of your eleven character machine serial number

This information will help Apple engineers isolate and identify the problem. The conduit I send will correct the problem you have immediately.

*To determine the build number, select About This Mac from the Apple menu and press the Version 10.4.x string beneath Mac OS X. That will reveal the specific build identifier of your operating system.

I have sent a copy to you.

However, to help Apple engineers isolate and identify the issue, I need three pieces of information:

• the version of Mac OS X installed on you machine
• the build of OX, found in the About This Mac box when you select the OS X version label and press your cursor button
• the last three characters of your eleven character machine serial number, available by pressing your cursor again

Thank you in advance for providing them.
