camera seems always connected

camera seems always connected

Until last night I would connect the cannon s30 camera and it would say do I want to import.**

Now as soon as I go to Iphoto it ask if I want to import like the camera is still attance. it is disconnected

I already downloaded those picture. When I deleted them from the Image capture. The camera still comes up but now says there are no pitures to import....Priobab;y becasue I deleted them from Image capture

well I dont know if I did the right thing but I brought the camera from the side menu and put in the iphoto trash and it is now gone?

Do you have a Windows formatted flash drive or USB HD disk attached to the Mac?

If so, what's happening is that iPhoto is seeing the drive as a camera, because the drive/disk is the same format as the camera card.

Solution: Image Capture (in your Apps folder) -> Preferences -> Set to 'DO NOTHING' when a camera is connected.
