Creating a Poster??

I am new to the mac world. In my PC days, it was easy to create a large poster presentation with Powerpoint...just adjust the slide size to 4feet x 8feet and add you text/pics, etc and print it out on a large printer. I can't seem to figure out how to enlarge a keynote slide size those kind of dimensions...it only allows me to change it in "pixels". Anybody know how to do this? Is there another program I should use?

Instead of Keynote, try Pages. I just opened Pages and was able to create a "Custom" size page of 48 by 72 inches. Pages allows you to import graphics files easily and you can place text easily too. In my very limited use, Pages produces much better resolution of imported graphics than PowerPoint.

Keynote assumes 72 pixels per inch, so just multiply the number of inches by 72 to get the pixel dimensions.

The largest dimension feasible in Keynote appears to be 4000 pixels on a side, which is ~55.6", so if you want to make a larger poster, you'll need to go to Pages.
