adding color to bw video

There's really no easy way to do this with the Studio apps. You could go through a lot of pain anyway... I'd turn it into true black and white and live with it. You can add color with other programs made for this, but there's no real workflow for the job in the studio that makes sense. There are limiting functions in FCP's 3 way color corrector, but the pain probably isn't worth the effort.

Color has secondary color rooms that could help, but again, I seriously doubt it's worth the effort, and the result would undoubtedly be unacceptable.

Sorry, it's a hard lesson to learn. Gotta be careful when you shoot...
