can't unsubscribe

I have been receiving HUNDREDS of unwanted emails daily - for over a month - lost track now. I have not subscribed to anything - and in the past only subscribed to one list - I have reset and updated and saved my settings many, many times. I have posted and emailed asking for help. All I really think I need is someone who can lookup my email address and then cancel all sending - then I would be most happy. The only detail that I can imagine to have contributed to this mess is that one of the email addresses listed is no longer valid - and perhaps this triggered the mess.

I am very very frustrated by now - and guess I should sit on the phone but not sure who to call!! : )
Any ideas or if finally someone reads this who can help please advise!

I'm so sorry to read, that you are still having a problem with this issue.

Is this address, listed in My Info?

If so, have you tried deleting that info there, to see if that corrects it?

Also, is it possible that at one time, you created an additional  Discussions ID, that may be subscribed to a Category or Forum, and the Email Subscription Notifications, are actually being generated by that account?

Open one of the Emails, and see what the name is after Dear Is the name here, the account you are now using?
Also read the full Header, and see if you can spot a clue.

Look for Your Name, Your Discussions Log-In ID, and Your Email Address.

It shows the old email address that no longer exists and my .mac address and my name. It looks like the correct information - if I had asked for the emails!

I have been checking the headers- and it has been the same all along.

The name and address, could be the same, as the account your are now using, but the Alias would be different.

Do the Emails direct you to a Category, a Forum, or an individual Topic?
If you find one from a Topic, and navigate to that Thread, is there a post there, that could have been entered with an account of yours?
