iPhone/iTunes Update Error Message.

When you hook up your iPhone to iTunes like any iPod you get a special menu for the product. In the Menu I have an "UPDATE" button for the 1.1.1 update for the iPhone but every time I press it this message comes up:

iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update
server because you are not connected to the internet.

But I am connected to the internet and I am also connected to the iTunes Store? is there a way to get this issue fixed? I have redownloaded iTunes 4 times now.

Thanks for lokking/helping.

Hey druzod,

Do you have any security software running on the computer? Try disabling it or doing a selective startup.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305415

Make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed.

Launch iTunes goto Help>Run Diagnostics>Network Dignostics>Next
