i-Phone error message

I just had to reinstall my info on my phone. I am trying to setup my password and phone message. I keep getting an error message> First line: Password Error
2ne line: The old password is incorrect. I hit ok and tried to put in a new password - same message. I can't use my previous password and I can't create a new one even though it is asking me to set up now????

Please help!!

You just need to reset your voicemail password:

Log onto the AT&T website at https://www.wireless.att.com/olam/dashboardAction.olamexecute

Click on Phone/Device and then click on Reset Voicemail Password (under Phone/Device Support)

Click Submit. You will receive a text message on your phone with your new voicemail password.

Enter it and you should be all set.
