Macbook Pro Scratches!

Hi guys, didnt really know were to post this but here goes.
I scratched my macbook pro on the plastic to the side of the trackpad. I have a hairline scratch and a long scuff. Not that noticeable, unless you look. But i would like to know is there anything i can do about this, any way i can get it sorted myself? if not what could apple do?

thanks,
Mark.

Since this is a user to user forum we can only guess Apple's policy based on reading the warranty, and our knowledge of warranties. Warranties typically only cover manufacturer defects. I don't think an aesthetic issue such as a scratch is going to go over well as an asked for repair under warranty. Be more careful if you want something as aesthetically pleasing as smooth metal.
It shouldn't affect the functionality of the machine itself.

You can certainly try to get Apple to repair it, but no one here except Apple would be able to tell you what the final verdict will be. Please read the Terms of Use.
