iTunes server?

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro, a Desktop PC and a Windows Media Center PC. Is it possible to setup a "iTunes server", that is plugged into my speakers on my media center PC? I'd like to be able to control the iTunes on my Media Center from my desktop PC or my MacBook and have the music come from the speakers plugged into the Media Center. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance...

I use my Mac mini (running iTunes and Microsoft Media Center 2005) as my iTunes server, but I play the music via a Roku SoundBridge which is connected via the network to the Mac mini.

This makes it easy to sit back on the couch and control the music. As I have three SoundBridge M2000 models, I can also do this in three different rooms (with different music playing on each at the same time if I wish).

See http://www.rokulabs.com

I have one of the SoundBridges in the same room as my Media Center and connected to the same speakers as the Media Center.

There is also the Squeezebox see http://www.slimdevices.com or the Sonos Zone Player see http://www.sonos.com the Sonos system is by far the best approach for a multi-room requirement but is the most expensive.

You could even use an Apple TV!
