HP Laserjet 3330 MFP

I'm new to the mac, so forgive me if i've posted this in the wrong forum.
I have an HP Laserjet 3330 MFP. I can print just fine, but the scanner function is not shown anywhere on the mac. How do you setup the scanner?

Thanks

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Good Morning,

You may wish, if you have not already, to install the HP Software for this device...

After scanning through HP's support database I was unable to find anything specific regarding scanning problems and OS X, therefore if you continue to have difficulty after installing the HP Software you may wish to contact HP Support for further assistance resolving this issue.

Hope this helps! 

I have fought this battle and lost. I had multiple responses from escalated support contacts and all of them said that the generic printer drivers are all they support for the 3330. The last fellow was high enough up the food chain that he said straight out that there would be no compatibility update. If you bought it early enough then you know it took them a while to implement the other features when it was new. Everything still works with 10.4.10 on my dual 867 tower so my much loved 3330 has moved to the den with my old computer and I have a new HP in my office with the 2.8ghz iMac. Very sad.
