GoDaddy host & BBoard/Forum's

Two Questions with using GoDaddy service.

1) There is an older site still on the server and I want to replace it with on made in iWeb. What folders or files must I leave inside the root folder?

2) Is anyone linking a BBoard or Forum with there GoDaddy & iWeb site?

you can integrate the vanilla forums into iweb by simply installing them onto your godaddy server. then you will have to iframe them into iweb to directly integrate them.

use this html snippet:

<iframe src="http://path/to/vanilla/" width="X" height="Y"></iframe>

change the address to the address to your vanilla and X and Y to width and height respectivley in pixels.

Hi fashionaluminum,

as .Mac doesn't support PHP and has no MySQL Database you can't use Vanilla Forums. You would have to have another hosting/server who supports MySQL and PHP for the forum.

You can open a Forum for free on a free forumhost like this one http://www.forumfree.com/ then link it from your website or embed it using an iframe. Forumfree seems to work good.
