Camera Roll vs. Photo Library (How do you delete Photo Library pics?)

Not sure how it ended up this way but in my photo albums on my iPhone I have two categories: Camera Roll and Photo Library. I cannot delete the photos in "Photo Library."

Any clue what's going on and how to delete these?

Photo library contains the photos you sync-ed through iTunes, the only way to delete them is by not sync-ing them anymore

I did use sync photos in iTunes once, but I don't have it set to sync anymore and the photos are still there and do not have the trash icon to delete.

Try to re sync just a folder with a couple of photos only and see if the old ones disappear

Hey, I'd been wondering about that! Use Picasa with iphone all the time and have a designated folder for family photos and stuff to carry around with me. It's like a digital bragbook.

I have 3 cats camera roll photo library and the folders i had synced, if it creates a photo library that hass all the photos, then why does it break out the folders also, seems redundent redundent to me, this is so like somthing MS would do.

iPhoto itself is extremely redundant,
but theses big hard drives, drive this kind of storage.
never had a 1 gig hard drive? gad I'm not that old.
but I do remember "windowz95" talk about shoplifting. 😉

oh Ya you have to unsync them.
sync but don not choose any files / photos.
or the just ones you want... .x.
