Best Buy return policy?

Best Buy return policy?

My husband wants to buy me an iTouch, but asked me to do some research first. I appreciate all the helpful posts on the forum. I have learned a lot!

My question is this...The closest Apple Store is over 2 hours away, so if we order from Apple on line and a problem occurs, I would have to mail it back or drive to the Apple store. Both options are not appealing to me. I do have a Best Buy only 10 minutes away, so it makes sense to get it there. However, are they good about exchanging it for a new one if there is a problem?

I'm not sure about their normal policy, but you want to buy the extended policy. My fiancee got that when she first got an iPod (like, 2G or so), and every time it's gotten damaged(or "damaged"), we just take it back, and they pull another one off the shelf for you. Pretty much, unless they can prove that you purposefully blew it up, they'll exchange it.

Best Buy has a 30-day no questions asked return policy. Trust me on this, I do it all the time. I've returned 2 iPod touches to be honest with you. I've had no problems AT ALL. You can return OR exchange it within 30 days.
