I would like to see an app that allows me to listen to my local radio stations thru my iPhone... Wonder if there is anything built into the iPhone that could support this feature. I would really like to listen to kroq rather than my own music collection while at work!
Who else would like this feature, if enough of us want it, Apple might do something about it.
I would LOVE to be able to listen to my favorite radio morning show on my iPhone. XM / Sirrus would be great too! I just browsed through the web apps but I didn't see anything for listening to the radio. I could've overlooked it......there were sooooo many!
Yeah nothing yet there in the webapps but maybe soon, if i ever see anything or if anyone finds anything, I shall or they should post the link to the utility in this thread! 🙂
I definitely agree,
FM radio for me is a must in any phone. I hear the latest news (as there is always new things happening everyday in Lebanon) and the radio shows from time to time.
I hope it will be considered in the iPhone so i could get one soon when it arrives here.
I think that this would be an excellent idea but how about the online feature. Internet radio stations would be the best over the iPhone since they can utilize the wifi feature.
And now we see the new Samsung P2 making the competition hotter, i think the FM feature would be integrated at the end of the road, but i guess the sooner, the better, right?
Have any of you tried iradioapp.com? It's doesn't stream your stations, but it shows what's currently playing on the radio station, includes the last 5 songs, and many other great features.
It's one of the most useful web apps I've used on my iphone.
