Anyone else seen this iphone stopwatch error

I use stopwatch to time my work hours and get the following error. Anyone else get it also?

Quite often I'll start the stopwatch, see that it's running, turn off the screen and later come back and...

1. Stopwatch is running (red stop button shown) but shows 0:00:00 accumulated time
2. Pressing stop shows 0:00:00 total time.
3. pressing start again shows 9398:24:00 (9398 hrs, 24 min, 0 sec) and starts running again.

Basically, I lose my work hours. Resetting iPhone doesn't fix the problem. I don't recall seeing this problem before upgrading software to latest version with itunes store.

I see the same error on my iPhone, version 1.1.2 (3B48b)
I kept getting the stopwatch error occasionally, but I never knew what did it... now I tried the phone answer trick and that confirms it for me. It's a repeatable bug.

Start the stopwatch.
Turn off the screen.
Answer a phone call.
Turn off the screen.
Go back to stop watch it says 0.00, but if you hit lap it goes to a crazy number like 60338:36:33

Whoa - figured out more about this.
To get the error on my phone..
1. start stopwatch.
2. Turn off screen
3. Accept incoming call on iPhone. After call screen goes off.
4. Turn on screen and look at stopwatch - error occurs.

Can anyone else duplicate this, i.e. is it just my phone or bug?
