15G iPod seems to have croaked

I've plugged my iPod into the iMac and, well, it's not charging or displaying. I've hit play. It won't play. Pretty much looks my trusty ol' Pod has passed on. Any thoughts on what I might do to revive it and maybe get another couple years out of it?
