Nokia N95 and OS X 10.3.9

I'm currently running 10.3.9 and consequently iSync 1.5

I have just got myself a new Nokia N95 and did a bit of searching for a phone that would sync with a Mac, the N95 had support from Nokia - all good. However, I'm an idiot and didn't check which version of OSX you needed to use the Nokia plugin. It needs iSync v2 and consequently I can't even get my computer to recognise the existence of my phone in any form let alone sync.

I'd really like to be able to sync the phonebook and more importantly calender, and also to use the USB cable to import photos from the phone to computer and to put files from the computer onto the phone. I was hoping that the laptop would at least see the memory card as an external devise and be able to transfer on and off it but apparently not.

Is there any software out there that can get an iBook running 10.3.9 to sync with an N95 at all? I wouldn't even mind paying a small amout for the new version of iSync but it looks like you have to spend $129 to upgrade to Tiger which I really don't want to do when Leopard will be coming out soon and I'm considering an upgrade or new machine then.

Help? Please?

Until you either obtain Mac OS X 10.4.9 at a minimum, or Mac OS X 10.5 when it ships soon, you are stuck.

A Nokia N95 is not natively supported by iSync, and requires a plugin which itself requires iSync 2.4 Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later. The architecture in prior versions of iSync 2 and Mac OS X 10.4 through 10.4.8 is inadequate to support current plugins, and does not exist at all in iSync 1.5 and Mac OS X releases 10.0 through 10.3.9. There is no workaround to this situation.

You can access the memory card and transfer media files bidirectionally using Nokia Multimedia Transfer beta release 1.1, but it too requires Max OS X 10.4.9, iTunes 7 and iPhoto 6 or later releases of both the OS and these applications.

Im not sure how you could get the calender synced but I have just bought the N95 and have hundred of contacts on my computer which I need to get on to it. The only way I could do it was get the contacts onto my old phone. Copy them to the new sim card I got with the n95 then put this sim back into the n95. Then copy them from sim to phone.
I realise this is not much use if you dont have the old phone. I presume if you are keeping the same sim card then you can use this to transfer the numbers. Failing this Tiger will be very cheap on ebay any time soon as leopard really takes off. Thats my plan.
