Curtis iMode IP200 iPod alarm clock radio- will it fit the classic?

Hey everyone! I currently just bought the 80gb ipod classic. I have a Curtis iMode IP200 iPod alarm clock radio that fits my old 4g ipod and I was wondering if the classic is suppose to fit in it. It doesn't seem to which is disappointing because I do like the clock. It came with lots of adaptors and I have the adaptor that came with my classic but it is not fitting. It looks like it can fit though...I don't much about the universal dock but will that make my classic fit this clock? or is the universal dock just another ipod charger... Thank-you. 😀
