Nokia Multimedia Transfer beta 1.1 available

While iSync itself does not support the transfer of music, photo and video files, users often ask in this forum if it is possible to do so. There is, generally speaking, a disappointing degree of support for such capabilities from both mobile handset and smartphone manufacturers and wireless providers.

Nokia Europe has released Nokia Multimedia Transfer beta 1.1 which requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later, iTunes 7 or later and iPhoto 6 or later, and supports these models:

• Nokia E50, E60, E61, E61i, E62, E65, E70 and E90
• Nokia N70, N70 Music Edition, N71, N72, N73, N73 Music Edition, N75, N76 and N77
• Nokia N80
• Nokia N90, N91, N92, N93, N93 Music Edition and N95
• Nokia 5700 XpressMusic

Nokia Multimedia Transfer supports the interchange of applications and games, non-AAC protected music and video, and still photo files between your mobile handset or smartphone and Mac OS X applications such iPhoto and iTunes.
