Virtual Guitarist 2 in Garageband?

I still haven't figured this out. Any suggestions? Beuller? Beuller?

Thanks for your response Glenn, but that didn't do it.

The standalone version finds the content just fine, and so does the plugin when I run it in Logic Express and Digital Performer.

My problem here is that Virtual Guitarist 2 doesn't show up in Garageband at all. I add a new track, set it to Software Instrument and go to the Details pane. I click on the Generator list and I see all of my other installed Audio Units, but not Virtual Guitarist 2.

I'll keep asking around and I'll post here when I have success.

Yes Glenn, that was it. Special thanks to my friend Dylan for putting in some phone time with Steinberg to get these instructions.

To make Garageband re-scan the Audio Units in the Components folder, I had to go to User/Library/Caches and from there delete the folder called Garageband and a file called com.apple.garageband cache.

The next time I launched Garageband, Virtual Guitarist 2 showed up as expected in the Generator list. It works perfectly.
