Setting up Dual-Monitors, 2nd display power cord has the wrong connector.

In trying to mount a dual monitor setup on my G5 I encountered a really dumb problem. I have a dual video card but where or how can I plug in the second monitor to get power to it? The monitor in question is a 17" studio display graphite. From what i can see, the power cord from the monitor can only be plugged into the power source on the G4 graphite. Can anyone help?

Hi-

Welcome to Discussions!

If you have a power cord for a G4 tower, you can connect the display power to the tower cord. Insert the tower cord female into the sheathed male of the display, and then plug into a regular receptacle.

The display doesn't have to be plugged directly to the tower, so using a tower cord to allow connection to a regular recep is no problem.
