Exploring this some more today I found a lot of cool picture frame effects you can apply to an object in the object inspector. Under Stroke, chose Picture Frame from the drop-down menu that says line. You can set the color & choose from several different picture frame styles.
I'm just trying to figure out how to reduce my huge .pdf export. Even with using the compress pdf or setting the export option to "good", it's still 3meg. I want to send this brochure to potential clients but that is pretty big.
what format were the pictures you imported. I don't think they carry over into the pdf, size wise, but they might affect it. I typically use either jpg or pdf itself as screenshot formats and my things turn out fairly small.
try to bring them down to the resolution your going to be using in the document. that will minimize extra space due to picture size. Don't EVER use BMP's from my experience. HUGE, Its a perfect pixel for pixel representation of the picture, but not scalable at all. I found.
Also you can change the degree of each by using the slider in the same area of the inspector. I really like it, but there are limited uses for some of them. But cool, they are.
