iPOD nano 3G BMW car audio interface problems
Hi,
I recently swapped my iPOD nano to the new model. I used the old one as "CD-changer" in my BMW 3-series with the original Apple BMW iPod Adapter. Worked really great. With the new iPOD model it does not work any more properly:
- the iPOD is not turned off through the interface when the car is swtiched off.
- it is not charged any more through the interface
- once connected through the interface, the display is turned on (full white) and remains on! You could use it as a flashlight 😉
Means: If you forget to switch off the iPOD manually after 3 hours or the journey, it will be dead when you come back.
I updated already to latest firmware 1.0.2, no diference.
Anyone an idea whom to contact or how to overcome?
