Top plastic part on Ipod Nano 2nd Gen.

Hey, I have an Ipod Nano 2nd Gen., and the top plastic piece with the hold button has popped up in the middle forming a bump. The only way I can now get my hold button to work is by pushing down on this hump; then pushing the hold button. The reason that the hump is there is probably from one or two drops, but something this expensive should not break so easily. Heck, even the 1st gen ipod's didn't have a plastic bit on the top, nor do the ipod videos. What are my options to fix this? it is very irritating, and I am afraid to go out in the rain with my ipod. Also, another little problem is that the wheel is jiggly. When I scroll it around to change the volume, the wheel will move with my finger occasionally. It is a small movement, but I have not seen this problem with any other ipods. I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me my options and what to do if they or someone they know has experienced either of these problems. Thanks.

If you have a white or black Nano, click [here|http://www.ifixit.com/iPod-Parts/iPod-Nano-Gen-2-Top-Bezel/IF199-008]* and then follow [this guide|http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPod/iPod-Nano-2nd-Gen-/Top-Bezel/99/1/Page-1 /Top-Bezel].

However, if you have a coloured Nano, you'll have to find a top bezel elsewhere. But, if you find a replacement for a coloured top, then you can still follow the guide.

Hope this helps, Matt.

*To see both colours, click "Available Options" and choose White or Black.
