Any Tips on Kontakt Automation

Hi,

I've got a track that seems to have automation going on, even though there is none at all. This odd behaviour is always tracked down to Kontakt operation with Logic 8.
This same track sounds so much tighter when played in Logic than DP,. it's just the phantom automation and lack of K2 instrument responding to the volume settings within L8 driving me nuts.

Are there any K2 users who can shed some light on this?
