Error -8796 with MS Entourage
Hi,
I have just got a Mac Pro and have been installing my software on this. All been fine until now. Whenever I start up MS Entourage I get Error -8796 message continually coming up. As for as I can tell all my settings seem there (accounts/identities) but +no text is visible+.
I've tried looking on MS support sites and OSX sites (in case this is a OSX error no.) but no clues. I've tried trashing prefs for Entourage and office, the MS office v.X Database, re-installing etc, but all no good.
In the end I created a new user account login for OSX and this worked. Any Idea where I go from here with this as I seem to have some problems/restrictions using some software in this other new user account in OSX, so I'd ideally like to get my original main account sorted out.
Has anyone come across error -8796 before?
