iWork install error message

When I try to install iWork, I get this error message:
"The movie could not be opened. A file could not be found."
My updates are current, including QuickTime 7.2.
I have not had other install problems including earlier versions of iWork.
So, how can I find the missing file?

iMac G4, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Is the iWork installer you have a .dmg file? When you control-click on it and go to "Open With", what do you get? I get "DiskImageMounter.app (default)" if you get something else, that may be your problem.

I got the problem fixed by calling Apple. The default was incorrect. It should have been using the Installer. To change this, I went to Info, after clicking the iWork icon from the install disk, then viewing Open With, it showed 2 items so I switched to the correct default. Thanks for your suggestion which I now understand.
