corrupted ipod nano 1st gen

I have a corrupted Ipod nano 1st gen... and restoring the nano wont work at all... I cant find a single way to fix it...

(Custom) PC Super Viper, Windows XP Pro, Stuffed with everything u need

It just goes back to the corrupted logo screen on the ipod nano... and nothing else... so obviously the restore failed so it couldnt even get to the new update

What is the corrupted logo screen?

What other USB devices are connected to your computer and which port are you connecting the Nano to?

it shows a folder with a yellow triangle with a exlamation mark next to it and it also shows something saying corrupt on the bottom and the apple website on the bottom
