Delay problem with caps-lock

Has anyone found a way to turn off the delay feature associated with the caps-lock key on the new thin bluetooth keyboard?

I use the built in OS X feature to swap my caps-lock and control key functions (keyboard pref pane). Unfortunatly the delay remains associated to the physical key so I end up with a delayed response on my control key!

If there is no work around for this error right now, is there at least an indication that this is something Apple will fix, or do I need to start keyboard shopping again?

I have the same problem ... it really *****. I switch the caps lock and ctrl since I use ctrl constantly. Now the computer gets the unmodified letter rather than the ctrl-whatever.

Please, somebody fix this. I really like the keyboard otherwise.

I'd also like to know. And while we're at it, how do we map the Fn key to Control?

The Fn key -> Control mapping was easy. I downloaded DoubleCommand

http://doublecommand.sourceforge.net/

It seems to do this task with no problems. It doesn't do anything to help remove the CapsLock delay, however.

It appears that the keyboard firmware update released today fixes this issue. I'm now able to use capslock as my control key and no longer experience typing delays.

Yay apple! I'm unreasonably excited about this fix.
