Pc100 & Pc 133 RAM

Can I use both pc100 and pc133 sdram in my tower?

I have one pc100 128mb sdram and one pc133 128mb sdram both working fine. Could this effect other RAM that I might add (example 512mb pc133 RAM in ram slot 3)?

Also do the 450mhz towers accept double sided ram?

I have a G4 Sawtooth. Slot 1 has a 256MB PC133 and slot 2&3 have each a 512MB PC133. Now I know the bus is 100 Mhz but ASP recognizes the chips as 133 but I really think they are running at 100 Mhz. Most PC133 are backward compatible to 100 Mhz. I really don't know about double sided. The ram sticks I have have the chips on one side. You can go to the dealmac site and chek out dealram. Sites like Crucial,1800memory4 and so on have a good listing on what chips will work on what cpu.

Just remember static kills. It will kill immediately or kill gradually. At work we have large signs that say :Static Kills". Just make sure you are the same potential as the "metal" chassis of your box. You can pick up a cheap static wrist strap at your local Radio Shack store. Just put the alligator clip on the metal frame. Also NEVER touch the gold fingers of any ram or pci cards. Handle by the upper edges. I did have a 512MB chip go south on me; whether it failed on its own or I was careless I will never know.
Where I worked we wore static foot straps later I sprung for new safety shoes that would dissipate static. We had to stand on metal floor plate and grab a handle and read a meter to see if we were okay to enter.
