Does new photo sync, delete the old photoes on iphone?

I dont know if this is normal or not, but I noticed when I sync new pics to the iphone, and after the sync ends - I dont find the old pics folder which was on the iphone already before this process.

For exp: if I have a folder called (Kids) on the iphone and I sync a a new folder called (Logos) , After the sync finished I find only the folder called (logos) and (KIds) is gone...!!!!

Does the new Pic sync, delete the old pics folders (which were already on the iphone)?

If you have multiple picture folders that you want to sync to the iphone, these folders have to be in one group folder.

For instance, the iphone can only sync to one main folder, but if the main folder has sub folders ( folders inside it) you can choose which sub-folders to sync.

So if your pictures, or my pictures folder has other folders inside it, you can set itunes to view the my pictures folder and then choose particular folders to sync inside the my pictures folder.

Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. I have over 4,000 pictures stored in very precise folders across my hard drive and I'd like to pick and choose which folders I would like to sync with my iPhone. Is this possible with the current version of iTunes? If not, is there a way to tell iTunes to leave the existing photos on the iPhone so I can sync from another folder?

It would be a shame to have to duplicate pictures and increase storage on my computer to accommodate iTunes inability to be flexible with the folder settings for us 😟
