I don't know if this will help, but I had a similar issue and Jason's instructions solved my problem. You may want to give it a try. Good luck.

Hey ePhone,
Try Resetting Sync History in iTunes, goto Edit>Prefrences>iPhone>Reset Sync History>Reset Sync History.
Goto the Info tab in iTunes> sync only calendars> advanced replace calendars on the iPhone, This will replace the calendars on the iPhone with calendars from the computer.
If the iPhone sync still gives the Mingling data error, make sure calendars in Outlook do not have blank titles as described here:
